Ouvvi Setup Guide
Welcome to the Ouvvi Install Guide. This guide shows you the necessary steps to installing and setting up the Ouvvi Console.

Ouvvi Web Install
Run the Ouvvi Web Setup installer.

Run through the installer following the installer instructions.

Make sure that the 'Launch Ouvvi Website' is selected, then click Finish.
This should load the Ouvvi Web Installer.

Enter how you would like the website to be installed. For new sites, please insure that the port number you use is available.
Click on 'Install' to begin the installation.
You should see a confirmation message saying that the installation is a success. Click on 'OK'
This will open the Ouvvi web application in your browser, and ask you for setup information.

Enter all the details shown above with your own information.
Click 'Setup'
Based on the information provided, Ouvvi will create the database structure on your server and then redirect you to the Ouvvi homepage.
The Ouvvi homepage gives you a quick-step guide to finishing installation. For a more detailed procedure please continue.

Now that Ouvvi is running correctly we can finish the setup. First, we must activate it. To do this you must follow step one on Ouvvi's homepage in order to bring up the activation screen.
Enter your key in the license box and click activate.

Once activated, click on 'Settings'
Ouvvi's default settings are sufficient, however you will need to add information for email notifications and support contact information.

Click 'Save' to save your changes
Ouvvi Service Install
Run the Ouvvi Service installer

Once Installed go to the install location and modify the Simego.Console.Service.exe.config file with the generated information found on the Ouvvi homepage.

Copy and paste the the configuration information and enter your database password you used to setup Ouvvi

Go to Administrative Tools>Services in the control panel.
Find the Ouvvi Processing Service.

Right click on the service and open properties.
Select the logon tab and enter an administrative account for the service to run under.

Select the General tab and click start to start the service.

Go back onto the Ouvvi web application and click on services to check the service run state.

Adding Projects, Triggers and Steps
To add a project select Projects. In the mini-menu select Add Project.
Fill in the details as shown below.

Click Save to save your new project.
To add a Trigger, select Add Trigger from the mini-menu.

Select the type of trigger you wish to add.
Now to add a step to the project, select Add Step from the mini-menu and select which type of step you need.
For the example we will be using a HTTP Web Request Step, so that we can test the Simego Website.

Enter the step information.

Click Save to save your changes.
You should now have a project ready to go. Click on the project's start button to manually run and test your step(s).

A green tick should appear on a successful run.
Adding Users
Note: You cannot add users to the Express Edition.
Go to Settings>User Profiles
In the mini-menu select Add User
Fill in the users details and click save.

You should now see the newly added user in the user profiles list.
