Connecting to Postgres

To use a Postgres database with the SQL Query tool you will first need to download the correct driver. You can do this at the following link: https://github.com/npgsql/npgsql/releases

Download Driver

Make sure that you include the Npgsql GAC Installation in the driver install, otherwise it will not be shown in the connection list as an available provider.

Postgres GAC Install

Once the driver has downloaded, close (if you haven't already) and reopen Data Sync.

Now go to Tools > SQL Query Tool > Connection and choose the Npgsql Data Provider from the drop down list.
