Here at Simego (Simego Ltd.) we take your privacy seriously and any information you give us is stored with the utmost care and security. We do not sell, rent or loan any information regarding our customers to any third party. Please read the below policy to see how we will use your data.

Data Collection

The data we collect varies depending on which service you are using. For use of our helpdesk service, we will collect:

  • Name
  • Company Name
  • Email Address

For orders placed with us we will collect:

  • Name
  • Company Name
  • Email Address
  • Company Address
  • IP Address
  • Order History
  • Products Purchased
  • License Keys

For account creation we will collect:

  • Name
  • Company Name
  • Email Address
  • User Defined Password

Use of Information

We will use the information you have provided to us to:

  • Process orders submitted by you;
  • Customise the service we provide to you;
  • Administrate or otherwise carry out our obligations in relation to any agreement you have with us;
  • Verify your identity (for example if you require support from us we will need to verify you have an active support agreement with us);
  • Contact you to resolve any problems or queries with any products or services provided to you;
  • Contact you regarding license renewals;
  • Contact you with an informational newsletter about new product features and ideas for how you can use the product;

We will send you occasional emails to remind you of license renewals and in response to service requests. We may also send you a newsletter to let you know about new product features and ideas for how you could use the products, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at anytime.

Certain information, such as your email address, is collected automatically upon receipt of an email from you.

When you place an order with us we will log your IP address which will be recognised by our web server. This needs to be stored to comply with EU regulations regarding B-B sales for place of supply VAT calculations and proof.

Storage of Data

If you are not a customer and are enquiring about our products and services, your data will be stored for 12 months after your last communication.

If you are an active customer (have a license key that is in date) then we will keep your data for the duration of your license and until 12 months after the license has expired.

The data collected for orders will be kept indefinitely for us to be able to supply perpetual license information.

Your data will be stored in an Azure SQL Database that is encrypted at rest.

Disclosure of Information

As previously mentioned we will not disclose any of your information to a third party unless we are legally obliged to do so. For example, if we are required to do so by court order for the purposes of fraud or other crime.

You are entitled to request a copy of the information we store about you at any point. If you wish for us to do so please contact us, and we will supply this to you for a small fee.

If you have previously agreed to having your data collected by us but have since changed your mind, please contact us to have your data removed from the system. Please note that if you wish to have all data removed from our system including your order history you will not be able to request details pertaining to your perpetual license.

If you have an account on and would like to be removed, please log into your account and choose delete account. This will remove you and your stored data from our system.

Please note that if you remove your account from our system we will retain any order details, as previously stated.


In order to use our products and services you will need to consent to the above policy. By using our website, products and services you consent to the collection and use of this information by Simego Ltd. You will be required to accept this policy before proceeding with orders, creating/signing in to your account and when using the helpdesk.

If we change this policy we will make sure you are informed of the changes when you login into your account, this will be done through a request to accept the updated conditions.
